About Kirsty Logan
Kirsty is 27 and lives in Glasgow with her girlfriend, musician/graphic designer Susie McConnell, in a flat full of guitars, chandeliers, and half-full notebooks.
Kirsty mostly writes about books and sex, both fictionally and non-fictionally. Her short fiction, poetry and essays have been published in around 80 anthologies and literary magazines, including The Boston Globe, Best British Short Stories 2011, and Best Lesbian Erotica 2011, as well as broadcast on BBC Radio 4. She has also been quoted in the New Yorker.
Kirsty writes regularly for PANK and IdeasTap. Along with Helen Sedgwick, she co-founded and co-edits Fractured West, a new magazine for edgy and experimental flash fiction. With Helen and Kirstin Innes, she co-runs Glasgow's hottest monthly spoken word event, Words Per Minute.
Kirsty likes strong coffee, children's ghost stories, abandoned buildings, and toast and jam.
She is represented by Francesca Barrie at Johnson & Alcock Literary Agency.
